Sammut adamant Bulls must improve
Bradford stand-off Jarrod Sammut insists the Bulls’ form must improve if they are to make the Super League play-offs this season.
The Bulls have lost their last six games, including a surprise Challenge Cup exit to London Broncos, and face an improving Hull KR at the weekend.
Sammut said: “You look at our performances this year and we’ve never thrown in the towel.
“You can’t question the effort, it’s always there. But the little things, like staying
composed, completing sets, not getting flustered and just sticking to a structure, are major issues for us.
“Against Huddersfield, we didn’t stick to any of that and we crucified ourselves.
“All of us were off our game at the Magic Weekend – we didn’t stick to how we know we can play.
“It’s back to the drawing board and we need to get it fixed quick-smart.”
Bradford travel to MS3 Craven Park on Sunday to face Craig Sandercock’s Hull KR.
