Scorpions loan Joy from Crusaders

South Wales Scorpions have added another player to their ranks today, with Andy Joy joining on loan from North Wales Crusaders.

The 20-year-old centre or back rower made his debut for Crusaders last week against Featherstone Rovers in the Challenge Cup.

While he looks likely to play against Barrow Raiders this week, it is unlikely that he will play against Crusaders on May 10.

Scorpions’ coach Mike Grady said: “Andy has been highly recommended to us and comes from a big Rugby League playing family. He will be a good addition to squad including the other experienced players we’ve signed today.”
