Sculthorpe leaves Bulls
Prop Danny Sculthorpe has left Bradford without ever making an appearance for the club.
Sculthorpe, 31, was sidelined with a back injury shortly after signing for the Bulls from Wakefield at the end of 2009, and has now left Odsal by mutual consent.
Bulls’ chairman Peter Hood said: “We were delighted to have secured Danny’s services for 2010 and 2011 and it was most unfortunate that injury meant he was never able to play for the Club. I am pleased to say that Danny’s post-operative rehab is going well, although he will probably miss the whole of pre-season. As part of the process of finalising our squad for next season we have reached an amicable settlement as regards the final year of Danny’s contract, meaning he is now free to sign elsewhere”.
Danny Sculthorpe added: “I would like to thank the Club for their support throughout what has been a very difficult and frustrating time for me and my family. I am now focused on regaining full fitness and resuming my career.”
