Seven St Helens players included in 2018 Dream Team
Seven players from St Helens have been selected in the 2018 Super League Dream Team.
Saints captain James Roby has been included for a sixth time, and is joined by winger Tommy Makinson and centre Mark Percival who are each making a second appearance, and a quartet of debutants – Ben Barba, Jonny Lomax, Danny Richardson and Luke Thompson.
The rest of the team, selected by a panel of the sport’s broadcasters and journalists in a secret ballot, comprises players from Wakefield Trinity, Wigan Warriors and Catalans Dragons.
Tom Johnstone, Bill Tupou and Matty Ashurst are the Trinity trio, all making their Dream Team debut.
Wigan back-rower John Bateman is the eighth debutant and is joined by club captain Sean O’Loughlin, who is making his seventh appearance in the side.
