Shaun Lunt confirms he will not be a Leeds player in 2020
Leeds hooker Shaun Lunt has announced that he will not be at the Rhinos next season.
The 32-year-old was involved in a swap deal back in June, which saw Lunt join Leeds from Hull KR and Matt Parcell go the other way.
Lunt’s loan at Leeds expired at the end of the season, with the Cumbrian now exploring options elsewhere.
He told BBC Radio Leeds: “I just think Richard wanted to go elsewhere and look at other options.
“It wasn’t meant to be. I would have loved to stay there, but things in life aren’t given to you so unfortunately that wasn’t an option, but I’m just looking to the future now.”
? ‘I’d love to stay in Super League but i’m open to all options.’
