Skolars sign Quins trio on loan

London Skolars have signed a trio of Harlequins youngsters including Jamie O’Callaghan on loan.

Winger O’Callaghan is joined at New River Stadium by second rower Jack Graves and Rob Thomas.

They are joined in London’s squad for Sunday’s clash against Hunslet by three Australian triallists – Jason Haywood, Stuart Harvey and James Thompson.

Assistant Coach, Jermaine Coleman, said: “It is an exciting time for the club. This will give us a boost with quality and experience. Hopefully it will give us the extra motivation to push on for a win this weekend. We are looking forward to this Sunday with the new additions as well as players returning from injury.”

Haywood has played lower grades at Sydney Roosters, Harvey at Western Reds and Hunslet and Thompson has previously played for Skolars. The trio have British passports.
