SL Preview: London Broncos v Warrington Wolves

London Broncos take their 2013 Super League campaign on the road this weekend as they host Warrington at Gillingham’s Priestfield Stadium.

The Broncos, who are winless in three, let a 30-16 lead slip late on against Castleford last week.

With just one defeat in their last eight games, Wolves are one of the form teams in Super League and will be looking to keep up the pace with the top two.

Broncos welcome Shane Grady, Alex Hurst and Dan Sarginson back into their squad for Saturday’s game while Kieran Dixon could also make his return from a hand injury. Chad Randall and Will Lovell are both injured and won’t feature again this season and former captain Craig Gower is finalising a move back to the NRL so isn’t included in Tony Rea’s squad.

Tony Smith includes young backrower James Laithwaite in his squad for the trip to London. Mike Cooper returns to action after missing last week’s win against Salford while Trent Waterhouse is not selected.

London Broncos 19-man squad: Bailey, Bishay, Bryant, Channing, Clubb, Dixon, Dorn, Fisher, Grady, Hurst, Kaufusi, Krasniqi, McMeeken, Melling Mendeika, Robertson, Sarginson, Wheeldon, Witt.

Warrington Wolves 19-man squad: Atkins, Briers, Carvell, Cooper, Currie, Grix, Higham, Hill, Hodgson, Laithwaite, McCarthy, Monaghan. J, Monaghan. M, Morley, Myler, Ratchford, Riley, Westwood, Wood.

Prediction: A depleted Broncos will be no match for in-form Wolves – Warrington win.
