SL Preview: Salford v London
Salford City Reds will be looking for back to back wins when they take on London Broncos on Friday night.
The Reds managed to overturn a 20 point deficit against Hull KR in front of the Sky cameras to win 38-34.
The game comes in the wake of new owner Dr Marwan Koukash bidding for reigning Man of Steel and Wigan Warriors‘s star Sam Tomkins.
Tony Rea’s London will be looking for their first points of the new Super League season having lost all of their opening fixtures.
Salford have included recent recruits Kieran Foran and Vic Mauro in their 19-man squad who flew into the country this week.
Jodie Broughton is back in the side having pulled out of the Hull KR game prior to kick-off with an illness. Lee Jewitt misses the game through suspension having been sent off for fighting with Robins’ forward Adam Walker. Rhys Williams however has been recalled by Warrington Wolves to cover for the injured Joel Monaghan.
The Broncos have opted to name an unchanged team from the side that was defeat 48-18 by Wigan Warriors with Ben Fisher retaining his place.
