Soliola move to Canberra confirmed
St Helens forward Sia Soliola will join NRL side Canberra Raiders at the end of the season.
Soliola, 27, has made 96 appearances for Saints since arriving from Sydney Roosters in 2010, and confirmed his intention to return Down Under earlier this season.
Captain of Samoa at last season’s World Cup, Soliola has also played 11 times for New Zealand.
He is one of two Super League star signings announced by the Raiders, following the capture of Hull KR hooker Josh Hodgson.
Raiders CEO Don Furner said: “Both Iosia and Josh are fantastic signings for the Raiders for the next two years and we believe their experience will be invaluable for our squad.
“Both players are having fantastic seasons in the English Super League and we look forward to them joining the Raiders for the pre-season.”
