St Helens confident key trio will be fully fit for Wembley
St Helens coach Justin Holbrook is confident that star trio Lachlan Coote, Alex Walmsley and James Roby will be 100% for Wembley.
The Saints face neighbours Warrington in the Challenge Cup final at Wembley next Saturday.
Coote [knee] and Walmsley [eye] have not be included in the 19-man squad to face Leeds on Thursday night, while captain Roby is not quite right either.
Holbrook explained: “We will pick the best team that is fully fit so players like Robes [James Roby], Cootie [Lachlan Coote] and Big Al [Alex Walmsley] in particular are probably just short of being right this week, but will be 100% fit next week which is the main thing.”
Wales international Morgan Knowles will return for Saints this week after fully recovering from a hip injury, while France skipper Theo Fages
Holbrook added: “Morgs [Morgan Knowles] has missed a fair few games now and he is fully fit so it will be great to have him and Theo [Fages] back in the side.”
