Rangi Chase reveals favourite Super League player
2011 Man of Steel winner Rangi Chase has named Jake Connor as one of his favourite current Super League players.
Chase, 35, re-signed with League 1’s Rochdale Hornets for the 2022 season. He featured in their Challenge Cup defeat against Barrow over the weekend.

Ken Sio record
Salford’s Ken Sio has become the first player to score a try in seven consecutive games for the club since 2008.
Former Salford star Stefan Ratchford was the last player to accomplish the impressive record.
Sio has scored six tries so far in 2022 – the most in the Super League competition. Salford fell to their first defeat of the season so far at Hull over the weekend, with Sio crossing in the second half.

Josh Charnley scores 200
Josh Charnley crossed for his 200th Super League try in Warrington’s 32-18 win in Toulouse.
He is now the all-time third highest try scorer in the Super League.
The England international crossed for his 250th career try in the club’s victory over Castleford in round two.

Royal Navy’s cup run comes to an end
The Royal Navy’s dream Challenge Cup run came to an end over the weekend.
They opened their 2022 cup campaign with a huge 60-0 victory over Bridgend Blue Bulls. Along the way, the Royal Navy also defeated the British Army and York Acorn in their magnificent cup run.
They fell to a 66-6 defeat to Championship outfit Batley Bulldogs in the fourth round.

Reserves returns
The Reserves League is back!
A handful of first-team Super League players featured over the weekend, including Wakefield’s Mason Lino and Huddersfield’s Michael Lawrence.
Phoenix Laulu-Togaga’e was also named at full-back for Hull KR less than 24-hours after making his Super League debut.
