Super League Pod Predictions – Super 8s Week 4

Mark and Tim from Super League Pod looked ahead to to Round 4 of the Super League Super 8s and Qualifiers, in this week’s SLP Predictions in association with Love Rugby League.

Wigan v Wakefield – these sides pulled off a couple of the more surprising results in Round 3, but both SLP hosts tip the favourites in this one and go for a Wigan win.
Castlford v Hull FC – two sides heading in different directions meet up in this game. Everything we’ve seen recently leads both Mark and Tim to tip comfortable Castleford victories.
Warrington v Huddersfield – this game could end the last drama hanging over who makes the semi-finals, although the guys both go for Wire winning to all but confirm the final four.
Catalans v St Helens – it’s 8th v 1st on Saturday, but league placings don’t stop both Mark and Tim punting for a narrow home win in this game.

Salford v Toronto – we finally get to see a split between the hosts in this game. Both expect points, Mark goes for Salford whilst Tim goes for Toronto.
Hull KR v Halifax – as is becoming the way in Halifax games against full-time sides, the SLP hosts pick a comfortable full-time side win in this one.
London v Toulouse – it’s arguably the most vital game of the week in the race for Super League and the boys are split, Tim tips Toulouse as Mark goes for London.
Widnes v Leeds – the crisis clubs meet on Sunday and although Widnes have had some home success over the Rhinos lately, both Mark and Tim think Leeds will win.

Down the leagues, Leigh v Swinton and Whitehaven v Hunslet get the games of the week treatment. Listen in to hear who the hosts think will win these and how they can justify to their predictions in all the other games.
