Super League preview: Salford v St Helens
Salford and St Helens will put their 100% records on the line when they clash at the AJ Bell stadium on Thursday.
The ‘Red Devilution’ has made a promising start, but the visit of Saints is to be the toughest test yet for Brian Noble’s side, who have captain Adrian Morley back in the squad.
Darrell Griffin and Rangi Chase will miss the game through injury, as Salford look to continue their best opening to a season since 1997.
St Helens head coach Nathan Brown has given back-rower Mark Flanagan a spot in the squad, and he is set to make his first appearance since suffering a knee injury last April.
Saints have a superb record in this fixture, having won in all but four of the 33 Super League meetings between the sides.
