CELEBRATION David Mead #1 of Catalans Dragons celebrates his try

All the top six Betfred Super League clubs have returned negative results from the latest round of Covid-19 testing.

The Rugby Football League said 323 tests were carried out this week and, for the first time since an outbreak at Hull in early August, there were no positive results.

It means this week’s play-off semi-finals at Wigan and St Helens will go ahead as scheduled and Warrington and Leeds, last week’s play-off first-round losers who were on standby and included in testing this week, can now start their off-season.

Wigan host Hull on Thursday night, while Saints take on Catalans Dragons 24 hours later for places in the Grand Final on November 27.
