Super League stats: Frankie Halton continues to impress in debut season
Frankie Halton continues to impress in his debut year in the Super League with Hull KR.
The Ireland international had a strong performance in the club’s defeat to Catalans on Friday night. The forward made 41 tackles and made 140 metres from 15 carries.
Frankie Halton has made the fifth most tackles in the competition so far with 227. He has crossed for one try, with 79 carries and a total of 561 metres.

Sam Powell has made the most tackles so far this season with 242. The Wigan hooker made 37 tackles in the side’s victory over Castleford last Thursday. Number nines lead the way so far in 2022, with Andy Ackers completing 237 tackles in second and Danny Houghton next best at 235.
Derrell Olpherts made 14 carries against Matt Peet’s side, taking his tally to 110 for the season. He leads the way, with team-mate Joe Westerman next best at 109.

Jake Connor made two more assists in Hull’s victory over Huddersfield on Saturday. He leads the way with 12, while Tui Lolohea and Jack Welsby both have 10.
Tommy Makinson, Ken Sio and Josh Charnley all have crossed for eight tries so far this season. Jai Field has seven, and Chris McQueen is the leading forward with six.
Field, 24, continues to impress and leads the way in metres so far this season. He has 967, while Warrington winger Matty Ashton has 899.
Toulouse winger Matty Russell has the most tackle busts so far in 2022 with 29. Field has 27 and Leeds full-back Jack Walker has 26.
Westerman has completed the most offloads in 2022 with 12. Warrington centre Peter Mata’utia also has 12. Tim Lafai, Shaun Kenny-Dowall, Ben Curries and David Fifita and next best with 10.
Marc Sneyd has kicked the most goals in 2022 with 22. He kicked four in Salford’s victory over Leeds last Friday. Ratchford has converted 19, and Sam Tomkins and Zak Hardaker both have 17.
