Swinton chairman proud of nice gesture from ball boys
Swinton chairman Andy Mazey was taken back by kind gestures from two of the club’s ball boys.
The ball boys – Marley and Billy – donated their £5 match earnings back to the Lions following the 32-12 win over Halifax on Sunday.
Mazey tweeted: “Ten pounds safely in my possession this evening.
“Two of our ball boys young Marley and Billy have gone above and beyond and donated back wages to the club today.
“This is what makes you feel like it’s all worthwhile.
“Thanks boys, your parents must be rightly proud.”
