Swinton are hoping to keep on-loan centre Mick Nanyn until the end of the season.

Nanyn, 31, who started his career with the Lions, joined from Halifax for a month.

But his loan spell is up after Sunday’s game with Championship leaders Featherstone at Leigh Sports Village (3pm).

Coach Gary Chambers said: “Mick is on his last game but we are going to try and keep hold of him for a bit longer.

“He played well last week, he is starting to get fit and he will be good for us.

“He likes it here and is keen to stay.”
