Tagg wants Featherstone momentum
Featherstone player Bradd Tagg wants to see Rovers maintain their momentum after they won their opening Championship game at Halifax.
Next up for Fev are Oldham, who will travel to the Big Fellas Stadium on the back of a win over Sheffield Eagles.
“We are all feeling very good after the result at the weekend but cannot become complacent in any way,” said Tagg.
“Oldham are good, aggressive team and will be buzzing after getting off to a winning start.
“They nicked us at their place last season and have got some skill about them. We want to beat them, but we can’t be taking anything for granted.
“Oldham have plenty of power and pace. We know we are in for a rough and tough afternoon on Sunday.
“But we too are very confident about our chances of success. If we stick to the game plan then we should have nothing to worry about.
“We want to get a run going and really get the momentum flowing. Winning at home is key to our chances this year. We have no intentions of losing, partiulaly on home soil.”
