Taylor geared up for Wigan return

Hull prop forward Scott Taylor is eagerly anticipating returning to his former club Wigan on Friday night.

Hull KR’s relegation denied Taylor the opportunity of facing another of his former clubs, but he can’t wait to tackle the current Super League leaders this weekend.

“I can’t wait for the game on Friday night – they’re my old team and when the fixtures come out I used to look to see when the derby was, but unfortunately that’s lost now this season,” he told the club’s official website.

“But the next thing was Wigan and that was the first game I looked for this year. I’ve got a lot of friends there still and really loved playing there.

“They’ve been doing well recently and so have we, so it should be a really good game on Friday night.”
