Team news: Huddersfield v St Helens (Thurs)

Drew Darbyshire

Huddersfield will be without Aaron Murphy on Thursday, while St Helens have made one change to their squad.

Simon Woolford has made two changes to his Giants squad that claimed their first win of the season at Wigan Warriors last week. Matty English and Colton Roche come in for Aaron Murphy (medial) and Adam O’Brien.

Saints coach Justin Holbrook has made just one change to his outfit that comfortably beat London Broncos last time out. Aaron Smith retains his place in the side after coming in late last week, with James Bentley dropping out of the squad.

The televised Super League clash takes place at the John Smith’s Stadium on Thursday, 7:45pm kick-off.

Drew’s dabble: Regan Grace signed a contract extension with St Helens earlier this week and is a banker to score anytime at 4/6.

Huddersfield’s 19-man squad: Darnell McIntosh, Jermaine McGillvary, Jordan Turner, Akuila Uate, Lee Gaskell, Matt Frawley, Kruise Leeming, Suaia Matagi, Alex Mellor, Michael Lawrence, Oliver Roberts, Ukuma Ta’ai, Matty English, Jake Wardle, Colton Roche, Sebastine Ikahihifo, Sam Hewitt, Innes Senior, Joe Wardle.

St Helens’ 19-man squad: Jonny Lomax, Tommy Makinson, Kevin Naiqama, Mark Percival, Regan Grace, Theo Fages, Alex Walmsley, James Roby, Luke Thompson, Zeb Taia, Joseph Paulo, Louie McCarthy-Scarsbrook, Morgan Knowles, Kyle Amor, Dom Peyroux, Matty Lees, Jack Ashworth, Aaron Smith, Lachlan Coote.
