Ten new additions in England Knights squad
England Knights coach Paul Anderson has named 10 new faces in his squad for the second phase of the season.
Anderson has named a 31-man Knights Performance Squad for the second half of the campaign, as they prepare to take on Papua New Guinea in a two-match Test tour later this year.
Castleford Tigers back-rower Oliver Holmes, who played in last year’s Super League Grand Final, is one of ten new additions to the squad alongside St Helens starlet Matty Lees, who has impressed whenever given the opportunity this year.
Wigan Warriors mid-season signing Joe Greenwood is one of the new inclusions, while Warrington Wolves back-rower Harvey Livett, Hull FC’s Brad Fash and Hull Kingston Rovers ace Robbie Mulhern have also been named.
Leeds Rhinos duo Ash Handley and Mikolaj Oledzki have been included, as have Wakefield Trinity pair Max Jowitt and James Batchelor.
On the England Knights squad, Anderson said: “The return of England Knights has been welcomed this year and the KPS sessions have been hugely positive and valuable for the players involved.
“It’s great to be able to include new faces to the squad as we head towards the end of the season and build towards the two matches against Papua New Guinea on tour.”
