‘That’s the best shirt in a long time’; Hull KR fans delighted as club release 2024 home kit
Hull KR could still achieve a great deal in 2023, but they’ve already got 2024 off to a flyer with the release of their new home kit, received gleefully by the club’s fans.
Looking to capitalise on what’s been a successful few weeks at Craven Park with three wins on the bounce, the Robins became the first Super League club to release next season’s kit earlier on today.
Hometown star Mikey Lewis, Kane Kinnett and Elliot Minchella modelled the new number alongside members of the club’s women’s and LDRL teams.
Reverting back to a predominately white design, KR in 2024 will don the iconic red band across their home shirt, produced by Oxen, with principal partner Connexin continuing their sponsorship.
Icons of robins can be found in red sleeves of the shirt, while there’s red piping above and below the aforementioned band. Robin icons in the red sleeves, and red piping above and below the main band. And on the eve of a clash with Salford Red Devils which could see KR cement their spot in the top six, their supporters have lapped up the new shirt.

KR Chief praises ‘fresh’ new design
Speaking in the club’s press release for the new kit, Chief Executive Paul Lakin said: “We’ve said, from top to bottom, everything we are doing is about freshening things up, being a top 4 club, and making us fit to be modern and progressive.
“This is the epitome of that, yet with the nod to the fans, who have supported us from day one, shown in the launch photography.
“Our retail department continues to go from strength to strength. With what’s planned for our 2024 ranges, we are sure it’s a trend which will continue.
“To deliver a shirt launch so early, it needs the commitment of our valued partners, who I’m pleased to say signed up for 2024 and beyond earlier than ever.
“A huge thank you to all our 2024 kit partners, including of course principal partner Connexin, and Oxen who delivered this fantastic looking home shirt extra early to us.”
Robins fans can get their hands on the new kit immediately, with shirts costing £49.99 for adults and £39.99 for children. Shorts cost £24.99 and £22.99 respectively.
