Thatto Heath, the UK’s most successful women’s rugby league team, are seeking applications for a new coach.

The club operates teams at all age groups from under sevens to open age men’s, in addition to a thriving masters and women’s/girl’s section.

Last season, the club’s women won the Challenge Cup and Grand Final, while the reserves won the Challenge Shield.

Scotland assistant coach Dave Rotheram coached the club’s women’s team last season.

“The club is exceptionally proud of its women’s section, not only for their performances, but for the way it has nurtured young women and transitioned them from the girl’s junior section to open age,” he said.

“Fifteen of the current squad have come through our junior ranks.

“We are looking for a committed coach who can not only sustain the success of the team but, more importantly, deliver a programme in which all individuals thrive regardless of background or ability.

“If you feel that you have the personal attributes to take us forward, then we would love to hear from you.”
