Thorman set for Knights return
Chris Thorman could return for the Knights for Sunday’s Co-operative Championship One fixture with in-form Doncaster.
Chris Clough, who was 18th man last week, will also be in contention for a place in Dave Woods’ side.
Woods said: “Last week against Gateshead our first half was very good.
“We didn’t give a penalty away until the 37th minute, and we led 32-0 at half time. We controlled the game. They didn’t gain many metres and our completion rate was high, but we made a few silly errors in the second half.”
Woods is demanding an 80-minute performance on Sunday. “Doncaster are going all right at the moment, and they beat us earlier in the year.
“We need to come up with a result. If we’re serious about where we want to be at the end of the year, we need to be beating the teams below us. We need to win.”
Doncaster have taken eight points from their last four games, including an impressive 30-20 win over Rochdale last week.
Coach Tony Miller said: “That must go down as one of our best performances of the season.”
Kyle Kesik returns to the Doncaster squad after serving a one-match suspension.
