Three Catalans players hit with suspensions following win over St Helens
Three players from Catalans Dragons have been hit with bans following the club’s 20-18 victory over St Helens on Saturday.
Prop forward Dylan Napa has been referred to tribunal for a Grade D Strikes charge. The 29-year-old was shown a yellow card on Saturday in Perpignan.
Hooker Michael McIlorum will miss the next three games due to a Grade C High Tackle charge. Sam Kasiano will miss Magic Weekend with a one-match ban. He was charged with a Grade A Dangerous Tackle.
St Helens forward Matty Lees will also miss the club’s clash against Warrington at Newcastle’s St James’ Park. He has been hit with a Grade A High Tackle charge with a one-game ban.
Kane Evans has been handed a two-match ban following the club’s 62-16 defeat at home to Leeds. The former NRL forward received a Grade B High Tackle. Team-mate Ligi Sao will miss two games with a Grade B Other Contrary Behaviour. Jordan Johnstone has also received a two-match ban with a Grade B Dangerous Throw.
Castleford duo Paul McShane and Nathan Massey will miss Magic Weekend with one-game bans. They were charged with Grade B Dangerous Throw and Grade B Dangerous Contact respectively.
