Three more sign up with North Wales for 2020
North Wales have announced three more signings for the 2020 campaign.
Prop Jack Cottington, 22, arrives at the Welsh club from League 1 counterparts Rochdale.
Cottington commented: “I want to get back playing with a smile on my face.
“I know quite a few of the lads at the club so it’ll be good to go out there and play with some of my mates.”
Back-rower Gav Rodden, 22, has joined North Wales from amateur outfit Wigan St Judes. He is an England Community Lions international.
Rodden said: “It’s a new challenge for me and I’m really looking forward to it.
“I’m expecting League 1 to be a lot faster than amateur, but I don’t just want to be there or thereabouts. I want to be in that team and playing my part.”
Centre Jordan Penny, 21, arrived at Crusaders from amateur outfit Wigan St Cuthberts last season and made three appearances in 2019.
Penny added: “It was really good being at the club towards the end of last season.
“It was a big step up from amateur, but I enjoyed it. It’ll be good to have a full pre-season at the club ahead of 2020 and I’ll be aiming to get a starting shirt.”
