Three Super League players charged
The RFL have confirmed that three players will face disciplinary charges after this weekend’s game between St Helens and Catalan Dragons.
James Roby of St Helens has been charged with making Grade B dangerous contact with Olivier Elima, during his team’s thrashing in Perpignan.
Eloi Pelissier of Catalan Dragons and Alex Walmsley of St Helens have been charged with Grade B striking in the 79th minute of the game.
Roby and Walmsley have until 11am on Tuesday to submit Early Guilty Pleas, if they want to. Pelissier does not have that option, and will face an independent disciplinary tribunal on Tuesday instead.
A formal caution has also been issued to Rangi Chase of Salford Red Devils, who made dangerous contact with the legs of Bradford Bulls player Lee Gaskell.
