Tigers bring in Jackson
Castleford Tigers have made their second acquisition for the 2010 season by bringing in former player Paul Jackson from Huddersfield Giants.
Jackson, 30, previously played for the Tigers over the 2003 and 2004 seasons making 31 appearances.
A former Stanningley Junior, Jackson admits that he is determined to justify his move to the fans after a less-than-impressive spell previously.
“I’m really looking forward to going back to Cas. The last time I was there I didn’t go as well as I had hoped I might with the shoulder reconstruction and the following year I wasn’t able to hit my best form.
“This time I want to put things right. I feel that I have improved on a lot since then, I was a little bit raw but I have worked under some good coaches and my knowledge of the game has come on and I’ve developed as a player.”
