Tomkins extends with Salford
Salford Red Devils hooker Logan Tomkins has signed a one-year extension to his contract that will see him tied to the club for 2017.
Tomkins signed for the Red Devils for the 2016 season, following a successful loan spell from Wigan Warriors, and his workrate and effort has been rewarded with an extended stay at the AJ Bell Stadium.
Salford head coach Ian Watson is pleased to have secured Logan for the upcoming season.
“Logan stepped up to be our starting nine last season when we had an injury to Tommy Lee, and he made the shirt his own,” he said.
“The work Logan does off the ball is first class, he does things across the park that don’t always get seen but make a massive difference to the team.
“He’s shown big improvements during his time here and I’m sure he can continue to develop in 2017”.
