Tommy Makinson rumoured with a move to NRL side Newcastle Knights
St Helens winger Tommy Makinson has allegedly been spotted in Newcastle, bringing up speculation that the Golden Boot winner could be on his way to the NRL.
7News journalist Liam Cox has claimed that Makinson is in talks with Newcastle coach Nathan Brown over a move to the Knights, but there is no real evidence of that as of yet.

The Knights are putting together an impressive squad ahead of the 2019 campaign, with Australia front-rower David Klemmer recently signing on the dotted line after leaving Canterbury Bulldogs.
Makinson became only the fifth Englishman to win the Golden Boot award when he picked it up last month at a dinner in Leeds.
With Ken Sio having left Newcastle to join Salford Red Devils in Super League, Newcastle could be searching for a new winger.
Makinson is still enjoying his time off following England’s autumn internationals against New Zealand, and is believed to be seeing family in Australia.
