Top 14 French rugby union player on trial with Catalan

French rugby union player Marc Baget is training with Catalan with a view to switching codes.

Baget, 28, currently plays in the Top 14 competition for Bayonne, and has previously played for Biarritz.

Catalan GM Bernard Guasch said: “I met Marc for the first time two or three years ago, he has always been interested by our sport. He wanted to try his hand and we are pleased to welcome him in our squad for a trial week.”
