Toronto trio named in Ireland squad for World Cup qualifiers
Toronto trio Bob Beswick, Anthony Mullally and Liam Kay have been included in the Ireland squad for this autumn’s final European qualifiers for the 2021 Rugby League World Cup.
Young Wigan prop Liam Byrne is again named in Stuart Littler’s squad along with new Warrington signing Keanan Brand and recent Hull KR recruit Ethan Ryan.
Api Pewhairangi is recalled by the Wolfhounds while there are 11 players included from the Irish domestic league.
Ireland are in Pool A with Italy and Spain, with the top two nations going through to the next round of qualifiers.
