Toulouse hand first professional contract to young French centre
Toulouse have confirmed the signing of young centre Hugo Pezet.
The 21-year-old French junior international signs his first professional contract with the club for the 2022 campaign. He made his debut for the club in March 2020 against Batley, scoring a try in a 34-14 victory.
“First of all, I am very proud to be able to say that I am part of the professional workforce of Toulouse,” he said.
“I worked hard for this. I will continue to make my Super League debut as soon as possible to earn my place. Playing in this competition is a childhood dream.”
Club president, Bernard Sarrazain, added: “Hugo embodies the new generation of players who should make the French XIII shine in the coming years.
“The fact of integrating him into the pro-group rewards his work, but also that of all those who participated in his training, in the TO or in the clubs and structures where he has been. “
