Toulouse winger Paul Marcon suffers injury blow
Toulouse winger Paul Marcon has been ruled out for the season after suffering a ruptured ACL.
The 25-year-old left the field in last weekend’s pre-season friendly against Catalans, with scans now revealing that he has suffered an anterior cruciate ligament injury to his left knee.
Marcon will have surgery on Monday before taking on a rehabilitation programme.
A Toulouse statement read: “The whole club wishes him a good recovery and will be by his side throughout his convalescence to accompany him so that he finds the grounds and his level as quickly as possible.”
🤕 @PaulMarcon1, l'ensemble du club te souhaite un bon rétablissement.
Nous serons à tes côtés tout au long de ta convalescence. 💪
