Two Championship players suspended

Two Championship players have been suspended by an independent match review panel. 

The following players have been handed bans by an independent match review panel:

Joel Farrell (Dewsbury Rams) pleaded guilty to a charge of Grade C dropping knees first on an opponent (vs Batley Bulldogs on May 29). Farrell was found guilty and was issued with a three match suspension and a £100 fine. 

Misi Taulapapa (Featherstone Rovers) pleaded not guilty to a charge of Grade A striking with foot (vs Halifax on May 29). He was found guilty and received a one match ban a £100 fine. 

The following charged players, were not banned:

Danny Addy (Bradford Bulls) pleaded not guilty to a charge of Grade B deliberate contact with a match official (vs Leigh Centurions on May 29). Addy was found not guilty.

Keegan Hirst (Batley Bulldogs) pleaded guilty to a charge of Grade B re-entering the field without permission (vs Dewsbury Rams on May 29). Hirst’s charge was downgraded and no further action was taken.
