Two more sign up for Coventry

Coventry Bears have announced the signings of Will Budd and Chris Cullimore for the 2020 League 1 season.

Budd joins from the London Broncos, where he has appeared for the youth system whilst also studying at St Mary’s University in London in a sports related degree.

“I am incredibly grateful for this opportunity,” said Budd.

“I am looking forward to getting stuck into pre season, to getting to know my team mates and I am really excited about taking my skills to the next level within a great team”

Cullimore, 26, joins from Keighley Cougars where he made 11 appearances and scored one try in 2019.

“I am looking forward to joining Coventry this season,” he added.

“Having spoken to Alan [Robinson, owner] and listening to how the club is building, I want to be apart of what the club is striving to achieve.

I am looking forward to taking a leadership role within the team and help the younger players grow”
