Two youngsters promoted to London first-team

London have handed youngsters Rian Horsman and Oli Leyland two-year contracts with the club’s first-team.

The duo will remain on part-time academy contracts for the 2019 season but will then spend two years with the club’s first-team in 2020 and 2021.

Both players have caught the eye in the Under-19s Academy league and Broncos’ coach Danny Ward was eager to get them to commit their future to the club.

Ward said: “Rian and Oli are two exciting young half-backs.

“We are pleased that they have committed to signing for two more seasons.

“They are good kids who have worked hard and impressed in their first year.

“They will be promoted to the first-team squad next year and we are looking forward to working with them and we believe the early exposure to the first-team full-time environment will only help with their future development.”
