Castleford coach Daryl Powell says his side are determined to achieve what he calls the “biggest prize” in Super League by finishing top of the league table at the end of the season.

Since 1998, finishing top of the table has been secondary to winning the Grand Final at Old Trafford.

The Grand Final is undoubtedly a great day on the rugby league calendar, but should it be changed to match the style of the old Premiership and thus give more weight to the team that finishes top of the table after 30 games?
