Wales move into European pole position after beating France
Wales triumphed 14-6 over France at Cardiff Arms Park on Friday evening, putting the Welsh within touching distance of claiming the European Championship title.
France have not won a Test match in South Wales since 1948, and that record is set to continue after a fine performance from John Kear’s men.
Dalton Grant, Joe Burke and Courtney Davies were the try scorers for the home side, with Mickael Simon mustering the only French score late on.
If Wales can win or draw in Ireland at the weekend, then they will be crowned champions of Europe.
