Warrington recall Rhys Williams from Salford
Warrington have recalled winger Rhys Williams from Salford after Joel Monaghan suffered an abdominal tear.
Super League‘s top try scorer, Monaghan will now face a spell on the sidelines following the injury and has prompted Wolves to react and recall Williams from his loan spell.
Williams was part of the Reds side that overturned a 20 point deficit at home against Hull KR on Sunday.
Lee Briers will be unavailable for the away match with Hull KR as he is still struggling with a neck and shoulder injury that requires further rehab.
Elsewhere Ben Harrison is still a couple of weeks away from returning to first team rugby after he went under the knife to fix a double hernia injury suffered earlier in the season.
Veteran Adrian Morley‘s operation to cure a torn bicep has gone smoothly but he remains on the sidelines for two to three weeks according to coach Tony Smith.
