Warriors pair join the Dragons

Catalan have confirmed the signings of Romain Navarrete and Lewis Tierney on loan from Wigan until the end of the season.

Navarrete (above) returns to the Dragons having made his Super League debut with the club last year.

Tierney came through the Wigan Academy system and has helped the Warriors win the Super League title in 2016 and the World Club Challenge the following year.

Dragons’ head coach Steve McNamara said: “We are delighted to add Romain and Lewis to our squad. They add both quality and depth at an important time of the year.”

CEO Christophe Jouffret added: “I would like to thank the Wigan Warriors, and in particular Kris Radlinski, for their help in facilitating the negotiations.

“The loan of these two players will strengthen the links between our two clubs.”
