Watch Swinton v Whitehaven for just a fiver
Warrington and partner club Swinton have joined forces to offer tickets for the Lions’ Championship fixture against Whitehaven next week for just £5.
The clubs have worked closely this season, with several Wolves players set to feature in the game at Leigh Sports Village on Thursday, May 2nd.
Wolves’ chief executive Andy Gatcliffe said: “We have built up a strong partnership with Swinton this season. There are many club connections through the coaches and players, and on behalf of both clubs I would urge all Wolves’ fans to show their support at the game next week.
“It is important that all levels of our game work together to promote our great sport from the grassroots through to Super League. The Championship is an entertaining league and this match is a great opportunity to take in another game of Rugby League.”
The match-day experience will include ticket competitions, community activities, junior games and more.
Championship fans are urging followers of Super League to “adopt a Championship club” and support them whenever they can to help boost clubs outside the top flight.
Swinton director of rugby Paul Kidd added: “We have always had an excellent relationship with Warrington Wolves but our partnership this season has taken that to a new level. The lads we have signed from Warrington and those who have played under dual-registration have worn the Swinton shirt with pride.
“They are all developing as players while making us more competitive in the tough environment of the Championship. There is only one point between Whitehaven and ourselves in the table so come to the game and see for yourself just how good this competition is.”
Tickets are on sale at an exclusive promotional price of £5 adult/concession and £1 junior.
