West Wales make double signing

West Wales have announced two more members of their squad for 2020.

Australian hooker Mitch Shaw has re-signed for the Raiders after joining the club from Coventry last year.

West Wales coach Aaron Wood said: “Second season here for Mitch, and I for one am looking forward to seeing him back on the pitch.

“With our new pack and the dynamic style that Mitch has he should be very active this year.”

Scotland international Sam Herron has committed to the Raiders for 2020. The prop has previously played for Red Star Belgrade.

Wood added: “Sam gives our pack a great work ethic and experience up front.

“I’m really looking forward to seeing Sam rise and become a leader this season both on and off the field.”
