Wests 40-24 Sydney

Wests Tigers came from behind to overcome Sydney Roosters 40-24 in an entertaining clash at the Sydney Football Stadium.

A brace of tries from livewire Mitchell Aubusson took the Roosters into an early 12-0 lead but Dean Collis darted over in response for the Tigers.

Wests added another try before half-time from Chris Lawrence but the Roosters regained control with a score from Kiwi winger Sean Kenny-Dowall.

But the Tigers came out firing and with halfbacks Benji Marshall and Robbie Farah to the fore, they added tries from Farah and Taniela Tuiaki.

Braith Anasta raced over for the Roosters but the Tigers killed the game off in a dominant second half with additional scores for Tuiaki and Lawrence.
