Wests Tigers are mourning the death of Mosese Fotuaika after the prop was found dead at his Sydney home.

The promising 20-year-old was a member of the club’s under20s premiership winning side and had just recently been promoted to the senior side.

A NSW police spokesperson said: “At about 6.50pm (AET) Police from Holroyd area command were called to a town house in Merrylands. Afterwards a 20-year-old man was found deceased inside the premises.

“The death is not being treated as suspicious. A report will be prepared for the coroner.”

Teammates of the player took to Twitter to express their sadness, Tim Moltzen said: “Such a sad end to the day. R.I.P Moses, such a great kid and gone way to young. Be sorely missed by everyone at the club.”

Ex-Tigers forward Andrew Fifita said: “My heart goes out to your family brother. Gone way too soon. Still can’t believe it. Rip brother.”
