Whitehaven forward signs new deal
Whitehaven forward Ethan Kelly has signed a new two-year deal with the club.
The 24-year-old prop joined the Cumbrian club on trial shortly after the League 1 season got underway last season, going on to play 12 games for Haven.
Kelly commented: “I really enjoyed my rugby last season so I was delighted to be able to sign for another two years.
“I’ve loved everything about it at Whitehaven, they’re a great set of lads and I’m really looking forward to next season, especially as we are back in training now.
“The Championship will be a great test for us and I’m looking forward to that.”
Whitehaven assistant coach Jonty Gorley added: “He quickly proved he could hold his own in the professional game.
“His no-nonsense style of rugby, with his quick play-the-balls, makes him a great and popular addition to our squad.”
