Wild and O’Meley escape bans
Hull prop Mark O’Meley and Salford captain Stephen Wild have avoided suspension following their punch-up during their Super League clash on Sunday.
Wild submitted an early guilty plea ahead of the disciplinary hearing due to his previous good record, while O’Meley was handed a £500 fine “to reflect the potential for injury”.
The RFL Disciplinary Committee suspended Keighley hooker Paul March for one match and handed him a £50 fine after he pleaded guilty to committing a Grade B high tackle in a Championship fixture at Sheffield on July 20th.
The RFL Compliance Manager has deemed that there is insufficient evidence to support an allegation of biting by Castleford Tigers hooker Ryan Hudson in a Stobart Super League Round 22 match against Wigan Warriors.
