Will Pryce handed lengthy suspension following horror tackle
Huddersfield full-back Will Pryce has received a 10-match suspension following his independent disciplinary tribunal hearing.
Pryce, 19, was sent from the field for a dangerous tackle on Hull’s Connor Wynne on Sunday.
He was charged with a Grade F earlier this week.
The talented youngster had previously been found guilty of a dangerous throw during an academy game against Bradford in May 2021.
Huddersfield travel to Championship outfit Barrow Raiders this weekend for the sixth round of the Challenge Cup. The clash will be broadcast live on the BBC on Sunday from the Matt Johnson Prestige Stadium.
Ian Watson: ‘It’s a big lesson for him to learn’
Speaking after the game on Sunday, Huddersfield coach Ian Watson said: “It’s a big lesson for him to learn. The big thing is that he’s devastated in the changing room.
“He knows he’s messed up. What he’s got to do now is lick his wounds, see what consequences come from those actions and learn from them.
“He’s a good enough kid to learn and understand. You go through some bits of adversity as you go through your career and this is one that Will is going to have to face.”
