Women’s Grand Finals to take place at Headingley

During the midnight announcement of the Women’s Super League fixtures for the 2019 season, we also found out that the Grand Final will take place at Headingley Stadium.

The RFL had a number of options which included neutral venues to host the showpiece nevertheless, it was Headingley which got the green light.

The venue will host both the Women’s Super League and Championship Grand Finals on October 13th; one day following the men’s final at Old Trafford.

It is expected that Headingley will be the host venue for the women’s Grand Final for the next three seasons; leading up to the 2021 World Cup.
