Workington sign Ryan Verlinden

Workington Town have confirmed that they have signed prop Ryan Verlinden from Featherstone Rovers.

The Irish passport-holder has signed a two-year deal at the Cumbrian club.

Verlinden spent some time at Doncaster on loan last season, and has previous experience with the Ipswich Jets in Australia.

“It’s another quality addition which will further improve our playing squad for next season,” Workington director Garry Mounsey said.

“We are always on the look out for new players and I look forward to seeing him in a Workington Town shirt next season.”
